ITS AN ODD NAME ISN'T IT?

Why did we choose this name.

That's a fair question. The name Civil Defense was chosen because we believe every American has a right to defend themselves and families from harm. No one should ever have the ability to threaten anyone else. At our core were believe that all Americans should be able to live in peace. That can only be accomplished with education and training. That is true Civil Defense!

Meet Sarge

Guy R. Monighetti SGT USA Retired

Guy is better looking in person than in this old picture. Although he enjoys a good chuckle now and again. When it comes to training, he is as serious as a heart attack on a fat man. He is a 20-year active-duty Army veteran. He has 5 combat deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait. As a Forward Observer, he served with honor and pride. Eventually becoming one of the most experienced and trusted in his career field. Guy retired from active duty in 2016 and began a nice, quiet life of ease. That didn't last too long tho. Soon, inactivity grew into restlessness, and he decided to start Civil Defense. He is very active in Church. A member of the Rocky Mountain Gun Owners, Pueblo West Eagles, and the Pueblo West V.F.W. Guy has appeared in the Colorado Senate to fight to protect your rights as a law-abiding gun-owning citizen. Guy has a fantastic wife, four kids and even three grandkids. He loves a good beer and loud music.
