How long is my CCW training Certificate good for?

Your training certificate will be good for 1 year after the date of issue printed on it.

Remember this certificate will be your property so never give away the original, always give copies!

Which pistol should I get?

There are as many different types of pistols as there are different kinds of hammers. Each hammer has a very specific use just like each pistol has a specific use. Ask yourself these questions

1. What is the intended use for the gun. Self defense / home protection or concealed carry?

2. How available will the ammunition be?

3. Does it fit my hand?

Which other States will accept Colorado CCW permits?

Concealed carry reciprocity has been established with the following states:

Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

If someone is banging on my door. Am I allowed to shoot thru the door?

Absolutely, 100%, heck NO! That is murder. If the aggressor is NOT inside your home then you have safety and therefore not allowed to use deadly force against them!

I know how to shoot. Why do I need a class?

Let me ask you a question. Who taught you? The most common answer is your dad right? Well who taught him? Again, the #1 answer is his dad. Then we get to something like the Military taught him. Which is all fine and good. except your shooting fundamentals are now coming from what like 1945? Things have changed a bit since WW2. Take the class.

Who can't take a class?

Every red blooded American residing in the state of Colorado can take any of our classes. However.... If you are a convicted Felon, a convicted stalker or convicted of domestic violence you can't get certain certificates of training. Call and ask us to get specific answers.
